cromer
Cromer is one of the coastal towns along the North Norfolk Coastline and is subject to erosion of the cliffs by high wave energy. Due to the high land value the defence techniques adopted for this stretch of the coast are hard engineering techniques. These include seawalls, groynes and a promenade that protects most of the shops, hotels and houses along the sea front. To the east of Cromer there are no sea defences and there is only a small sea wall to the west of Cromer.
